This is a beginner to intermediate weekend course on how to ride a dual sport or larger adventure bike off pavement. We cover basic balance, cornering, acceleration, braking, ruts, puddles, and sand. We also focus on line selection, throttle control, balance and gear selection among many other elements. You will have fun while being challenged learning the foundations of off pavement riding. We venture onto real world gravel roads and trails that will solidify your skills and give you the confidence for exploring anywhere.

Lodging options below:

Entry Fee: $650. Includes Saturday lunch & dinner, Sunday lunch. Water, soft drinks and snacks are are provided during the class and with meals. $350 deposit due with entry or $650 paid in full.

This class continues the Dirt 101 journey to further enhance rider skills on their dual sport or adventure bike.

We expand upon clutch and throttle control finesse in technical terrain, balance, brake and power sliding, log hopping and obstacle maneuvers, jumping, more technical ruts, washouts and mud, as well as advanced sand riding techniques and skills. We will review, body positions, cornering, acceleration, braking, sliding, up and down hills and bumps, ruts, puddles, mud and sand.
