Dirt 101 – April 11th & 12th 2026

Where: Port Elizabeth, NJ Training Center

Class Status: OPEN

This is a beginner to intermediate weekend course on how to ride a dual sport or larger adventure bike off pavement. We cover basic balance, cornering, acceleration, braking, ruts, puddles, and sand. We also focus on line selection, throttle control, balance and gear selection among many other elements. You will have fun while being challenged learning the foundations of off pavement riding. We venture onto real world gravel roads and trails that will solidify your skills and give you the confidence for exploring anywhere.

Lodging options below:

• The Quality Inn – Millville, NJ is appx 10 miles from the training field and is a less expensive option.
• The Fairfield Inn Millville, NJ is appx 11 miles away and more $.
• Camping and cabins are available nearby at Belleplain State Forest
• Lodging is not included but a DISCOUNT link for the Fairfield is provided after signup.

Entry Fee: $650. Includes Saturday lunch & dinner, Sunday lunch. Water, soft drinks and snacks are are provided during the class and with meals. $350 deposit due with entry or $650 paid in full.

Dirt 102 – May 2nd & 3rd 2026

Class Status: OPEN

Prerequisite: Dirt 101 or equivalent training or experience.

This 102 class continues the Dirt 101 journey to further enhance rider skills on their dual sport/adventure.

We expand upon clutch and throttle control finesse in technical terrain, balance, brake and power sliding, log hopping and obstacle maneuvers, jumping, more technical ruts, washouts and mud, as well as advanced sand riding techniques and skills. We will review, body positions, cornering, acceleration, braking, sliding, up and down hills and bumps, ruts, puddles, mud and sand.

Dirt 101 & 102 Half Day Clinics

August 28th & 29th 2026 at the Blackwater Adventure Rally!

We are back again doing classes at the Blackwater Rally!!

Very excited to be back here in this rugged terrain of the Alleghany mountains and beautiful state forests.

Both Dirt 101 and Dirt 102 class skills are available. Friday morning there is a Dirt 101 and then a Dirt 102 in the afternoon. Same format on Saturday. Adventure Rally ticket is separate. Lets have some fun in the mountains of West Virginia!
